Holistic Trauma-Informed Therapy in Hopkins, Minnesota

Somatic therapy rooted in nervous system safety for adults, teens, children, and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and neurodivergence.

At Free Flow Healing, therapy begins with safety. I support individuals and families across Minnesota in slowing down, regulating their nervous system, and healing in a way that feels gentle, attuned, and sustainable.

Begin with a Conversation
  • “I feel constantly overwhelmed or on edge.

  • “I never really feel relaxed.

  • “I struggle to feel calm and safe-even when things are okay.

  • “I understand why I feel this way, but I still feel stuck

  • “Why do I feel numb and disconnected?”

  • “My child is anxious, dysregulated and I don’t know how to help.”

  • “I’m exhausted from holding everything together”

  • “I need to set boundaries, but I don’t know how.

You are not broken — your nervous system may simply be working overtime to keep you safe.

What if healing didn’t require pushing, fixing, or forcing?

Therapy focuses on helping your nervous system feel safer so life feels less overwhelming. Rather than pushing for change, we work gently and at your pace—supporting regulation, emotional awareness, and connection.

Over time, many clients feel more present, regulated, and confident navigating emotions, boundaries, and daily stress. This is a space to slow down, feel supported, and create meaningful, lasting change without pressure.

Healing begins with safety in the body.

Somatic Therapy

When stress or trauma feels stored in the body and talking alone hasn’t brought relief, somatic therapy can help. Transforming Touch® (TEB) is a gentle, body-based approach that supports nervous system regulation through safety, attunement, and connection—allowing healing to unfold without force.

Play Therapy

If your child is having frequent meltdowns, anxiety, or emotional shutdowns, play therapy can help. Through play, children explore emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen their sense of safety and autonomy in a way that feels natural and supportive.

Meet Anna Steidl MA, LPCC

Certified Trauma-Informed Therapist in Hopkins, MN

Hi, I’m Anna!

I’m a neurodivergent therapist who believes healing happens through safety, connection, and shared human experience. I’m deeply influenced by Eastern philosophies such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and body-based practices, which I’ve studied through extensive travel and training in Asia.

I integrate these approaches with evidence-based Western therapy to support healing that feels grounded, relational, and sustainable.

About Anna
client love

Anna’s compassionate and integrative approach helped me manage anxiety, feel more regulated, and gain a deeper understanding of myself on both an emotional and nervous-system level.
